Evangelist Danette B. Battle

Evangelist Danette B. Battle is the daughter of the late Deacon Dan Pritchett, Jr. and Evangelist Alberta Pritchett.  She was born and reared in Wetumpka, AL with her sibling, the late Deacon Dan Pritchett III. 

Evangelist Battle began her Christian Education at an early age, as a member of the Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Wetumpka, Al.  She humbly heeded the call of the Master, and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in August 1979. 

Evangelist Battle served in various ministerial capacities with the First Church of God in Christ in Pittsburgh, PA under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Derrick S. Johnson, Sr., D.D. in May of 2004.  She has a love for the Word of God and was an active participant in the Women Christian Education Department.  In October 2008 she was appointed as Bishop Johnson’s Executive Pastoral Assistant for 4 years.  She has served on the Church Board, the Advisory Board, assisted with creating mentoring and outreach programs and was the Interim Director for Precious Ones Child Care that operated within the church.

Evangelist Battle served as the lead servant for External Hospitality and the Outreach Ministry with the New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Plattsburgh, NY under the leadership of Bishop Don F. Ray and Pastor Darleene Ray.

Evangelist Battle became licensed as a minister on September 25th, 2016 at Good Hope Missionary Church under the leadership of Reverend Lonnie Nickson.  She serves in several ministries at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Wetumpka, AL.

Evangelist Battle has a B.A.  in Family Life Education and a M.A. in Counseling.  She has worked in several social services arena providing Counseling and Mental Health awareness in the local communities

Evangelist Battle has been married to Q. Battle for over 30 years.  They are the proud parents of four daughters, Quenette Tanisha , Qudsiyyah Taahirah, QurNissa Tasneem  & QurRahn TaNandi .  They have five grandchildren Matthew Royce, Parker Lynnette, Portlyn Imani, Rayyan Omri and Noah Bryce.

Evangelist Battle’s favorite scriptures are Proverbs 31:26, “She opens her mouth with wisdom, And on her tongue is the law of kindness” and Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”
